Actor Dhananjaya fondly remembers his time in Mangaluru, where he worked as a techie at a prominent IT firm in Kottara for six months. His experience allowed him to immerse himself in the vibrant art and culture of the coastal region. When recently invited to the Dasara celebrations in Kudla, he eagerly accepted the opportunity. Dhananjaya expressed his nostalgia for the Navratri celebrations that he had often heard about, and he cherished the chance to revisit the place with fresh eyes. During his leisure time in Mangaluru, Dhananjaya enjoyed watching Tulu dramas and Yakshagana performances, despite only having a basic understanding of the Tulu language. He believes that art transcends language and values the profound connection it fosters. Dhananjaya commends the coastal region for its commitment to preserving traditional art forms, recognizing the significance of language, art, and culture in defining the beauty of a place. He feels privileged to have witnessed the tiger dance during his visit and even participated in a performance on stage. Although he admits to not being a proficient dancer, his experience with the Huli Vesha performance in his film, Kotee, provided him with a glimpse into the world of dance. Dhananjaya emphasizes the importance of preserving art and culture, viewing them as essential aspects that enrich and sustain society.
